For livestock, poultry, and fishery products manufacturers, the safety of feed products (including feed and feed additives) plays a decisive role in product quality. The safety issues of feed products mainly come from the quality of feed raw materials, the quality of feed additives, the pollution degree of microorganisms to feed, the excessive addition of minerals, and the pollution in the process of feed processing, transportation and storage., etc. Feed safety is not only related to the healthy development of animal husbandry and fishery industries, but also affects human health. Feeds with safety issues will carry a large amount of toxic and harmful substances. After entering the animal body through the diet channel, it will cause serious pollution of animal products, and the excrement of animals will also cause serious environmental pollution, etc.
In order to control the safety of feed products, a series of regulations and management measures have been issued at national and local levels, such as the Regulations on Management of Feed and Feed Additives, Regulations on Management of Feed Quality and Safety, Regulations for Use of Feed Drug Additives, List of New Feed and New Feed Additives, List of Registration Certificates of Imported Feed and Feed Additive Products, Feed Hygiene Standard (GB 13078), Feed Label (Including the first repair order)(GB 10648), etc.
