Service Introduction

Climate change and global warming have become global hotspots, and the control of greenhouse gas emissions has become a way for many countries to fulfill their responsibilities. More and more organizations and even individuals are becoming concerned about their impact on climate change and are analyzing and calculating their own carbon emission levels. Meanwhile, it is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) through energy saving and emission reduction measures, which are the best illustration of the organization's social responsibility. Corporate carbon emissions are a company's direct and indirect emissions of six kinds of greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N20), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), over a given period of time (usually one year), commonly expressed in CO2 equivalents.
In accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018, the organization shall quantify and document its direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions and removals in the following categories:

1) direct GHG emissions and removals;

2) indirect GHG emissions from imported energy;

3) indirect GHG emissions from transportation;

4) indirect GHG emissions from products used by organization;

5) indirect GHG emissions associated with the use of products from the organization;

6) indirect GHG emission from other sources.

In according with Accounting Methods and Reporting Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Emissions of Chinese Enterprises (Trial), the organization shall quantify and document its mainly carbon emissions in the following categories:

1) carbon emissions from fossil fuel combustion;

2) carbon emissions from net purchase of electricity and heat;

3) carbon emissions from special industrial processes;

4) carbon fixation in special industries

Ti Certification provides the following services for customers:

Third-party verification of greenhouse gas emissions from key enterprises

Corporate carbon verification and validation services

Preparation of carbon emissions reports

Preparation of a carbon emissions monitoring plan

Verification of emission reductions

Supply chain carbon emissions audit and verification

Environmental management and performance review of the supply chain

Preparation of the list of regional carbon emissions

Basis for carbon verification:

ISO 14064 Specification for Quantification, Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Reductions by Organizations, consisting of three parts:

Part 1-Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals

Part 2-Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reduction or removal enhancements

Part 3-Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements (applicable to auditor's organization)

Service Features

The energy consumption of the company's carbon emissions and the direct greenhouse gas emissions will become one of the important indicators to measure the company's environmental performance. Through the establishment and operation of various emission reduction market mechanisms (e.g. carbon trading, carbon emission tax, emission reduction subsidies, etc.), environmental costs (greenhouse gas emissions) are monetized, and greenhouse gas emission management has become a part of the company's cost management.
In turn, low-carbon management requirements in the supply chains of retailers and brand owners, carbon disclosure by NGOs, and public interest require companies to account for and manage greenhouse gases in order to gain public and market acceptance.

Improve consistency, transparency and credibility in GHG quantification, monitoring, reporting and emission reductions.

Identify and manage GHG-related responsibilities and risks

Support the design, development and implementation of comparable and consistent GHG plans or schemes

Develop a sound internal management system for quantification, accounting, control and reporting of GHG emissions

Facilitate the development and implementation of the organization's future GHG emission reduction management strategy and plan.

Provide relevant capability to track performance and control of GHG emission reductions and/or GHG reductions

Our advantage:

Professional low-carbon consulting, planning, and assessment teams, with more than 10 years of experience in international and domestic carbon emission reduction project development, carbon trading, regional low-carbon planning, and product life cycle assessment. Ti Certification is the initiator of the National Whole Life Cycle Green Management Committee, and has set up a special GPM system for green manufacturing evaluation, providing one-stop services for enterprises in various industries, such as green factories, green supply chain, green parks, green design products, product life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint and eco-design reports.
