Only the compulsory product certification of fire alarm products, fire extinguishers and refuge escape products used in public places and residential areas is retained; the fire protection product certification and inspection market are open to the society, and all certification and inspection institutions with legal conditions can carry out certification and inspection work.

According to the Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China, Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, and Certification and Accreditation Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the state has compulsory certification for fire alarm products, fire extinguishers and refuge and escape products.
