NBTC certification is a wireless certification in Thailand. National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC for short), is a typical government management department with the power of administrative punishment. Similar to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, NBTC is also the competent authority for telecommunications products and telecommunications networks. Since July 1, 2008, the existing mandatory specification for mobile phone communication products will be extended to wireless related products for telecommunication equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment. Generally speaking, mobile phones and other wireless products exported to Thailand need to obtain NBTC certification before being sold in the local market.
NBTC Certification Type
According to different product categories, NBTC certification is divided into three application types: Class A/ Class B and SDoC
Class A: Registration
Class A Approval:The products must be tested in the laboratory designated by NTC and provided with the NTC required data and then the login number and certificate can be issued.
Class B: Approval Certification
Class B Approval:The certification procedure is the same as Class A products, except that foreign reports such as FCC, CE, CB.are used for the certification application of transfer mode; the registration number and certificate must also be obtained.
SDoC: Supplier's Declaration of Conformity
SDoC: The certification is voluntary. The customer's local representative in Thailand must fill out the SDoC form and send it to NTC with technical documents for future reference.

NBTC issues the NBTC certificate

Mark indicating compliance with technical standards (for products of Class A and Class B certification only)
Class A:
Class B:
Suppliers shall label the mark on radiocommunication products, product packaging, instructions or additional documentation in the packaging, or such mark may be displayed on the product screen as electronic label, but the operation method to view the electronic label shall be specified in the manual or other prepared documents.
The customers need to purchase this kind of marks from NBTC official in Thailand after the marks go through customs.

Note: This label is added according to requirements and the effective date is March 06, 2019
Type 1: Radiocommunication products licensed
Translation: A license shall be obtained from the license administrator for the use of this radiocommunication product or for the establishment of a radiocommunication station. A violation of Article 6 or 11 is punishable under Article 23 of the Radiocommunications Act B.E. 2498, including a fine (not exceeding 100,000 baht) or imprisonment (not exceeding 5 years), or both.
Type 2: Radio communication products for exempt from licenses (applicable to the products with certification type of SDoC, Class A and Class B)
The label is embodied in the instructions, the outer packing of the product, or the extra instructions in the packaging
SDPPI (DirektoratJenderal Sumber Daya Dan Perangkat Pos danInformatika) certification is mandatory for Indonesia's wireless communication and telecommunications products by the General Administration of Posts and Telecommunications.

Certification cycle:
Complete files, 20 working days (based on the CE report transfer certificate); 40~50 working days in case of the local test
Validity of certificate:
3 years.
