Food contaminants refer to chemical hazardous substances that are generated during production (including crop planting, animal breeding, and veterinary medicine), processing, packaging, storage, transportation, sales, and consumption, or brought in by environmental pollution which are not intentionally added.
As there are many types of contaminants in food and come from wide sources, the relevant laws and regulations are strict on this part. Domestic regulations relate to it mainly include: Food safety national standard Limits of Mycotoxins in Food (GB 2761), Food safety national standard Limits of Contaminants in Food (GB 2762),Food safety national standard Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food (GB 2763),Food safety national standard Limited amount of pathogenic bacteria in pre-packaged foods (GB 29921),Food safety national standard Maximum Residue Limits of Veterinary Drugs in Food (GB 31650), Plasticizer Limit Notice of the Ministry of Health (Supervision Letter [2011] No.551 of the Health Office), and Announcements of Ministry of Agriculture, etc.
Food and Agriculture Division of the Ti Testing and Certification Group has the ability to analyze and detect various pollutants, CMA and CNAS qualifications are fully covered. We can recommend risk monitoring projects for different regions and product categories, and reasonably analyze the sources of pollutants according to the test results, so as to help enterprises solve the problems in the production process.
