CE, European Community and "CE" mark is a safety certification mark and is regarded as a passport with which manufacturers open and enter the European market. All consumer electronic products exported to the EU must comply with the directive and the relevant harmonized standards, and shall be identified with the CE mark. If the products belong to the product category of the relevant directive, these products must meet all the requirements of the directive at the same time before being identified with the CE mark. It is one of the necessary conditions for product access, customs clearance and market spot check.
Applicable countries (European Union) of CE certification: France, Federal Republic of Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, North Ireland, Denmark, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Cyprus, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria.
EU Directiveis a uniform requirement agreed by all EU members. When the directive comes into force, it becomes an official law and shall be abided by all member countries. Electronic and electrical products must comply with at least one or more of the following directives before entering the EU market with the CE mark:

Certificate Type Declaration of conformity:this self-declaration should not be issued by a third party (intermediary or testing and certification body), but issued by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's responsible person in the European Union. If the products shall be sold in several countries in different languages in the European Union, the Letter of Declaration of Conformity in different languages should be prepared. This document must be provided by all manufacturers entering the EU market.。
Verification of conformity:This self-statement, issued by a third-party testing institution, states that the test results of the product conform to a standard or directive of the European Union.
EC-Type Examination Certificate (Mode B, EU certificate):Issue by NB agency. After the manufacturer provides the completed test report, product technical document, product risk assessment report and complete DoC, NB agency reviews the materials and issues EU type examination certificate for the product.
EC Design Examination Certificate (Mode H, EU Quality Audit Certificate):Issue by NB agency. After a complete quality system evaluation and audit, the manufacturer's production quality system is approved. After obtaining the Mode H certificate, the manufacturer needs to add the code of NB agency after the CE mark.

Mode A: Issue a VOC certificate + Manufacturer issues a DOC.
Other modes: NB issues certificates + Manufacturer issues a DOC.
